Hand Dyed Yarn

Hello, I’m Lindy

I am a weaver, lucky to call New Zealand home. My practice is driven by a deep passion for colour and texture, exploring the interplay of hand-dyed yarns to create unique, expressive textiles. Even though I have been weaving for a long time, there is always so much to learn and sometimes you do get stuck in your own "groove', so I am doing the Jane Stafford Online Weaving School course. I decided to get all the cotton yarns for Season 2 and I can't wait to get stuck in!
Season 1 was pretty much the basics, but the amount of new techiques and new ways of doing things I learnt has been great. It has really given me a shot in the arm about weaving, and why I love it so much.
(Oh...and a new weaving shuttle and a couple of other yarns may have "accidently" been ordered too.) #weaving #janestaffordschoolofweaving #handwoven #textiles
