Merlot Scarf/Wrap

Content: Tencel, Rayon and Wool

Measurements: approx 184cm x 36cm (72” x 14”)

I have woven this scarf with a bugundy tencel yarn, highlighted with stripes of hand dyed rayon with two stripes of purple tencel at the edges.

This can be worn either as a scarf or it is wide enough for a wrap.

The technique used to make this scarf is called collapse weave. Using a fine high twist wool to weave, it creates a faint pleated effect and slight elasticity.
